I have spent around 6 hours trying to kill ?? Zekvir on my DK. A lot of people have been saying movement impairment breaking skills can dispel the Enfeebling Spittle debuff. I have tried using wraith walk, death’s advance (with and without the talents that improves it), and death charger from the 4HM hero talents. I would at least think death charger from the 4 horsemen hero talents breaks the slow, but doesn’t even though it clearly says it should.
Death charger skill reads
"Call upon your death charger to BREAK FREE of movement impairment effects.
For 10 secs, while upon your Death Charger your movement speed is increased by 100%, you CANNOT BE SLOWED BELOW 100% of normal speed, and you are immune to forced movement effects and knockbacks."
I tried using death charger before getting debuffed and during no matter what i still get slowed and the dot persists. The dot i can usually take care of with def cooldowns, pots, and brans healing, but the slow gets me sometimes when I’m trying to get out of aoe especially in phase two.
The lowest i got him to was 45% I’m sure i can get him if i can at least get my run speed from death charger. please fix blizzard.

Forgive me if this sounds like a dumb question? Are you using these effects AFTER the spittle hits or immediately on the cast?
Another thread mentioned the spittle has a small travel time and using Disengage (for hunters) won’t work if you do it before it actually hits you.
I tried before, during, and after.
Yeh that sucks completely out the rear. The only reason people are currently able to do this fight is because movement spells break free of spittle or unless you get good RNG where Brann has some healing potions on the floor and isn’t dead or feared.
Maybe if they fixed Brann so he plays as a hunter and not a pretend melee so when the AOE fear goes he is not being a stupid MOFO sitting under the boss EVERY SINGLE TIME, maybe then players would stand a chance to beat this boss.
I found this to not work as intended as well but did manage to beat him. Stay near healer Brann so you can get the dispel and save every single AMS you can for enfeebling casts, if you have it rolling when the cast finishes you dodge the effect.
There is maybe one or two ovelaps (depends on dps probably, more if it is low?) where you will not be able to AMS the spittle, deal with it the best you can if Brann does not dispel.
Iceborne will let you live a single frontal at 613~iLvl, this does come in handy. All damage cds go on the add and give Zekvir the leftovers.
Ofc bring flasks, food, potions, battle pots, oils, and drums.
Good luck.
