Do we still have no answer on Tier sets being active in PVP? I know they said you can get them from the vault but I haven’t seen anyone confirming if they will be active or not in arena…
We can only hope they’ll be disabled

Hoping no, but all signs point to the opposite.
Even made a thread about it on the PTR Forums,
Tier sets should be disabled in rated PvP

Why would it be disabled?
If they are letting PvP players and M+ only players get tier sets from doing the content they like to do, it’s all fair game to let them be enabled in PvP
They not getting disabled for pvp it seems.
Then again people like soo much to talk about wow’s peak and how amazing everythgin was that they often forget that in many cases people would swap to pve tier set, use pve trinkets and always use the current legendary weapon.
You can get them by doing pvp this time around btw.
Because it’s another layer of power and burst to balance in pvp and players that do pvp and raids are going to have an advantage because they’ll be getting their tier sets faster. Once again making pve a part of the PvP meta.
Full tier set and double Lego in arena? Sounds like a blast…

People doing all forms of content should be the strongest type of player regardless.

And that’s resolved by having all pvp gear scale up to the same ilvl while in pvp. With it only having lower ilvl outside of it (like the ranks we have now).
In random BGs sure, in rated PvP absolutely not.

Yeah that’s correct except now with tier sets thrown into the mix we’re back to having pve gear be a part of pvp.
