Tier set variety

Why is the design of tier sets always DPS related. Can’t we have alternative pieces that increases defensive value or interact with utilities? (DPS Roles)

Like e.g cooldown reduction on defs, or staggering mechanics from monk if got hit, maybe even cheat deaths.

Or ice rain from mage let mobs slip so they hit 10% less.

It would bring some more choice to players regarding survivability.

I’m going to assume you mean DPS getting bonuses to defensives, etc?

It might be interesting to see different types of designs.

It’d be pretty hot to have old set bonuses being kept evergreen or having players choose different bonuses sometimes.

I’m sure there’s plenty of folks who hate having to change their playstyle significantly every time a new tier is announced

I still miss the Tier 2 mage set bonus that increased the radius of Blizzard. I think it was 4 piece, I forget.
