This has probably been brought up before, but I think a neat idea for a tier set would be to make high quality versions of Ryu’s gi from Street Fighter. I think it should be broken down like this:
Tier Set Name
Gi of the World Warrior
Tier Bonus
Build it around chi burst for WW (but this would require a significant update to that ability… make it a powerful nuke that is satisfying to press.) Or make it built around a powered up Whirling Dragon Punch.
Tier Colours
Raid Finder - Pink or Orange (Dan)
Normal - Red (Ken)
Heroic - White (Ryu)
Mythic - Black, with Big beads that move and don’t clip too bad, as well as the top removed and torn down to the waist (Akuma SF6). Maybe also some dark glow referencing his aura.
Note: Make the belt articulate well, and put Pandaren symbols for the grades, the number of symbols increasing with tier difficulty.
Just keeping in line with OPs original idea of making CB/CW empower a key ability (not that I’m saying this should actually be a thing):
Make MW version revolve around chi blast/wave resetting the instant cast of vivify 2/4,
4/4 healing a target below 40% hp with vivify always hits them as if you have zen pulse even if you don’t have a charge of ZP.
I’m very happy you didn’t include that weird purple color they love to throw on sets for some enigmatic, indecipherable reason. How will that ever be cooler than jade, jade lightning, fire, jade fire, jade wind, gold, sha/yshiraaj colors and themes, etc. Just slap this same color of purple we put on one set every season. Thematically our set should have had black blood and kajimite (jade!) colors imo. There is green colors and the gold set in pvp is very nice but I have a lot of ideas for how I would have colored it differently.
