Season of Discovery finally do what I have been asking for a long time.
That’s not all, however. Blizzard has introduced a way for players to transform their Tier 2 pieces (with higher Item Level) into pieces that utilize the Tier 1 Set Bonuses. This means that you can enjoy the bump in Item Level Power and still rock your Tier Set Bonus from Molten Core.
When are we getting that on retail. Its kinda annoying to be forced to play a certain set just cause its the new set from the new raid. Why cant we get something like that to either boost the item or allow us to choose which set effect we want to play.
They actually TRY to keep retail balanced…and they fail miserably with 1 set bonus per spec. It would be impossible for them to do 2 or even 3 bonuses per spec.
Wow, that would actually be cool. I think it’s pretty stupid that older tier bonuses become irrelevant as content gets updated, it would actually provide different ways to play the game. But it would also be a huge balancing nightmare sadly.
Maybe not all set ever but the usual 3 set we get into an expension, since we test them all out during that time and its always based on the change we get. After the expension I get it we can delete that set. But at least it give choice for 1 expension each time
Not necessarily tier bonuses specifically, but I am starting to get a bit jealous of all the ‘fun’ stuff I keep reading about happening over in SoD. I wish Retail could get more stuff like that but everything has to be so sterilized now apparently.
Don’t I know it. Feels more like the type of bonus I’d see on a world drop set rather than a tier set. The writing’s on the wall that it’s like that just to make it easier for the next set to replace it without worrying about anyone clinging to the old set.
That’s the last patch. Fated is when all the roads rotate and no one gives a rip about balance or firsts. Also, you’d be balancing 3 tier sets around multiple.iteratios of talent build through the expansion.
