What are the tier drop rates in the raid? We down two and they both have 1 token for a group of 14. Ouch.
I know the GV has a chance to drop them, as low as it is; but, it still feels wack considering they are a major theme for this patch. If the boss dropped just the right piece everytime we would have to kill him 14 times to each get that tier piece. (If no pugs, token to same group that has them already, etc.)
I was excited to get them and figured the creation catalyst would be for the alts I hardly play, now my mains are looking at it with a glimmer in their eyes!
Side note- I know different difficulties can also drop but LFR tier drop bosses won’t be out for a hot min and being the last bosses heroic gonna have to wait for me to get some delicious m+ gear first.
It’s 1 piece for every 10 players.
So you’re guaranteed 1 tier.
I forget if the extra 4 players add 40% chance for a 2nd piece. I don’t think they do. I saw a thread about it the other day but can no longer find it.

If 14 of you raid your chances to get tier is 6% per boss (it’s actually a little higher since im rounding down to 6% when its actually like 6.7% but w/e).
So if you full clear and need tier from X bosses:
X = 5 : 26%
4 : 21%
3 : 16%
2 : 11%
1 : 6%
So if you’re looking for your 2 set bonus, you’re >37% likely to get it come your 2nd full raid clear. >50% likely come your third full clear.
Come week 8 you’ll be able to craft tier gear though.

Agreed. I’m fine with the weekly CD on it but why so long of a wait to access it. I’d rather have the drops from the raid but it would be better than nothing.
Also, it would be nice if the casuals and m+ peeps had actually access to the tier instead of a small weekly chance. (Not that I’m really concerned about them, this is all about me. Mwhahaha)

I raid with a Shammy but also pushing keys on my Bear and gearing my Prot Warrior I haven’t played since season 1. It’s not as though raid tier drops are account wide so even though I raid 2/3 of the characters I play will be waiting.
