Original T2 for monk was orange/gold.
Then they changed it green color scheme.
To each their own of course, but I think it’s hideous in comparison to the orange/gold one. It has little to no detail contrast. It’s like you dump a bucket of green paint over a set.
What happened to it?
Is it available now?
Why was it changed?
When will it be added back in?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see recolors turn up as Trading Post items at some point in the future.

Honestly the monk outfit is probably my favorite out of all of them, even edging out the DK set, Nemesis and Judgement. Highly doubt I would like it so much in orange.

Also, the Mage Tower set is orange and looks great, so maybe that’s why.
Monks did not exist during the time of Tier 2. So, no.
Pretty sure the set for monk from the event was always jade, but there was a separate recolor for it shown, that will probably be on the trading post.

Yeah im bummed out. Jade one looks like every other LFR set to me.
That green feels too plain to me and a lot of details blend in too much.
Where as orange/black/gold has a very nice contrast to it.
Even with the mask and eye glow - green glow over dark green face mask.
Maybe we’ll get it in the future. Personally I think the green is badass.
I think any monk set should include jade to a degree, but I do agree that it’s laid on a little thick with the set. That and Blizz probably goofed by inadvertently revealing that the set has a recolor. Now you get mixed feelings because players want either one or the other.
How about a tier set that isn’t just another Raiden outfit?
I don’t even care about Monk sets, they all look the same.
Blizzard: “Artist, design a Monk armor set.”
Artist: “I know! I’ll make it look like Raiden! Surely nobody ever thought of that before!”
yea, certainly- the green set is a washed out recolour.
That original set looks like it would have dropped in BWL.
But this basically confirms the T2 reforged sets will be coming out as recolours, either Trading Post or some other means, so just hold out.
