Tier 10 & 11 Delves Should Drop Gilded Crests

I do not think soloable content should let you get access to Mythic Ilvl.

Higher tiers of delves just introduce bigger numbers while the mechanics remain brain dead. There has to be some connection of difficulty to the loot it yields.

Fact check: Delves don’t grant you access to mythic item level (and even if gilded crests were granted, the most that you could achieve is hero track which still isn’t mythic item level).

Not necessarily.

Not every highest tier needs to be highest reward.

Look at M+! Look at how much crying there was for crests to drop from 8’s.
Now you wanna do this thing to Delves as well?

Leave T8 at max reward. Rest are just fun tiers for those that want it.

Fact check, the hypothetical situation being talked about (gilded crests) puts hero track items on par with the first 2 levels of Myth track.

I can’t run a T8 in 5mins, and I’ve only ever seen it talked about on the forums.

I’ve not seen video or anything tho.

I have asked in delve chat and I get troll response like “bruh, I farm T11’s in quest greens in 10min” and stuff like that.

No proof it actually has happened.

Takes me closer to 20-45min on average.

If I get killed alot typing in chat they take a lot longer

Fact check: The other guy’s fact check was correct.

Nah, I think 10 and 11 Delves should be left as prestige Delves just like they were intended for. They are supposed to be for bragging rights only.

That’s an incorrect fact check. Delves grant champion track drops with the chance of hero track drops in rare instances and a weekly guaranteed hero track from the vault if certain criteria are met.

Delves do not grant mythic item level progression and even with the inclusion of gilded crests drops, it would be an inefficient way of climbing to full hero track.

We must have different definitions of mythic item level. I’m more than happy to debate this.

Further fact check - gilded crests allow 636 crafted items, basically on par with Myth track gear.

Those of us who do delves can make literally the same exact argument you just made and just Ctrl F “Delve” and replace with “M+” and that’s what we literally have right now. Delvers cannot get gilded without doing content that some of them don’t want to do.

If T11 delves give gilded, you’re free to continue to ignore them and do your +8s for gilded.

But we need sparks to make them, so 1 every 2 weeks.

Let the 1%ers whine.

You’re right though. If I hurry on my 600 Blood DK (best Delve spec in the game), I can probably complete most 8’s in 20 -30 minutes. 10’s and 11’s take some time though. It’s a bit high for a 600, but it is a Blood DK. My Hunter has to be extremely careful in T8’s, even at 609.

Once again: Delves do not grant mythic item level.

If gilded crests were allowed to drop within them, it would be an inefficient and virtually impossible method of obtaining certain gear thresholds.

Additionally, if a tier 10 / 11 delve is a cause for concern for breaking into hero track progression, we need to reign in +8 keystones as well. They are not substantially harder than the highest difficulty of delves, yet as others have pointed out, it’s possible to obtain 636 crafted.

That last paragraph is a sidebar and not meant to shift our debate.

So I’d just backfill my 4 (?) items with the capacity available to 636 and then upgrade my hero items, at that point you’ll get 90 more per week so you’re always set up to craft the new 636. :man_shrugging:t2:

lol no. T8 delves are way way too easy

We can get gilded but either it is an RNG chance or we shuffle crest for them. No need to set into content we don’t like but it will be very very slow going. If we are just doing Delves what is the use for maxing out gear fast? I understand it for pushing into harder content.

I agree that would be a problem. I’m more concerned with the idea of the quantity that they mentioned.

Regardless of the difficulty that they would be allowable on, there needs to be a cap so that geared groups don’t just organize and blitz them in 5 minutes each for ridiculous crest yields.

There’s a reason Snozay finds himself on a lot of people’s ignore lists.

So you’d get 13 of your 18 slots in 6 months if you didn’t miss any of them.

What would be the problem with that?
