Ugh. That thing is the bane of my existence. I looked for that boss for months during BC and I’m doing the same today. Have never even seen him spawned once.

its all about just being prepared. the right macro and a swim speed potion are key.

Doesnt really matter when you kill him a couple times and he just doesn’t drop the thing…
– and also being there when he’s not on his 2-day spawn timer. It’s out of the way, sure, but there’s a quest out there and it’s not like he’s hard to find.
It’s a twink trinket for 39+ and he’s also pretty much the only useful trinket from that level until cap (for leveling purposes), so it’s not like there’s no demand.
He’s basically classic’s Timewalking Proto-Drake, except for gear. If you’re going to try to get one for your GM, you may not be doing him/her any favors.
Its mostly for people to pretend they’re good at pvp when they pop it in a duel to cheese a win
Lol ? People constantly change their trinkets after they trigger the CD. Ever heard of engineering ? Cycling trinkets with long CDs is how you PvP. A bonus 3 second stun for a melee to use on a caster could win us the fight

In any event, it definitely appeals to my opportunistic mindset. Personally, a free kill every half hour is worth more than 2% bonus crit chance, but to each his own. Besides, again, twink brakets…
Besides the arena trinket, there’s not a whole lot available to us, especially with the best melee trinket for the 49 bracket (by an ultra-wide margin) fully belonging to the horde.
sounds like you use static trinkets my friend. im sorry but im a mage. i gotta move. Stopwatch, reflectors, tidal charm, rocket boots, rocket helm… got it all. Must have. no promo for addons here, but…Must have.
If pvp is your focus, time and energy into eng trinkets is better than competing to farm for tidal charm. That saved time can also be used to farm gold or mats for free action potions and others.
I’d use the tidal charm if I had it - but there are constantly over a dozen people farming it at any one time. I’ll pass
Yes. Tidal Charm is a must-have for any serious PvPer. The stun can easily turn the tide (hah) in a fight.
I currently don’t use any trinkets. Still leveling. I expect that I probably won’t be PvPing on my current leveling character, but I still have been looking for it. Its value in PvE can’t be understated either.

The trinket is a use once and swap to crit trinket. There is no downside. It can turn any fight in your favor.
I got it totally by accident while leveling my ret in arathi. I saw the naga prince pop up and killed him and there was the tidal charm. 
still wear it at 60

yeah that sounds like effort, and i don’t like effort. hence playing warlock. i like life easy.

Sigh. Still haven’t found Nazjak once. Even if I did find him, stinking Gnome warlocks hang around where he spawns and like to gank, which will only get worse now.
