What makes the Twins so easy for Frost Mages? Haven’t done it since Legion.

You have a much easier time kiting Karam, and enough damage to kill raest before things get very out if control.
Blizzard on adds lets you farm frozen orb resets, you have a kick for every hand, and you can use your water elemental to soak the runes, meaning all you’ve got to do is not get hit by Karam. And keep pressing ice Lance.
You need the trinket from Shadow Lord Iskar, i didn’t see anyone doing it without it
As shadow? No you don’t. It’s very helpful, as is every strong old expansions trinket, but it’s by no means necessary

What are any worthwhile old trinkets for shadow?
I don’t have a comprehensive list, but I would split them into three categories.
1: Trinkets that just have too many stats
2: Trinkets that do a lot of direct damage, to either adds or the boss
- Unblinking Gaze of Seethe
- Protoype Personnel Decimator
- Pocket Sized Computation Device with Cyclotronic Blast inserted
3: Trinket that apply passive slows when they proc. Useful for kiting Karam.
There will be more, but these are the ones that are most obvious / recommended in guides that have been written for the mage tower. Personally I didn’t use any of them, and Soulletting Ruby is just a good trinket for the fight because of how it interacts with the mechanics, but I can definitely see how having a passive slow on Karam thanks to Shock Baton would be very helpful,

Thank you for this information most guides seemed to gloss over potential trinkets.
This long version of virtually ignoring Raest when he is attackable in between phases the first two times must work as I got much farther than anytime previously. I didn’t stop a hand correctly and things spun out of control but weirdly I had a Thing spawn and despawn without killing me.
Congratz! and yeah that is the absolute safest way possible to do the fight, zero risks taken. But it works so who cares 
Watch someone on yt do it. No one here can give you good advice its better to see a pov from a kill.

31 int feels like a lot. I’m running 2 main stat int trinkets while you’ve only got one. Is that really a 31 difference? It can’t be.
Otherwise my stats felt fairly garbage for this challenge in SL gear. Im even missing 2 sockets because I’m wearing Dom items and the shards don’t work.
I have a bunch of trinkets I was trying to swap around. Two I can swap in for 14 each popping me to 384 int with an augment rune.
That did push me further.
Kill him and just range the other brother while dotting him up and killing slow. Kill ads, profit.

Oh I get it, I just can’t kill Karam in the last phase fast enough to get to the hokey pokey part
