My main complaint is that it’s just difficult to see, especially in dungeons where most of the spell effects are a similar colour, like Azure Vaults.

Just off the top of my head drunk at 7am 2nd boss knockhood offensive I mean why would you be stacked? You ever get thundering when doing 1st boss in temple? Imagine running around while wash away is going miss your clear and get stunned into a full wipe.
Or the other way 30% dmg increase only to be cleared instantly but the last boss AA or KO when he grips you, making it useless.
Ima stop you right here your account is linked to your main you’ve never done a 15 and the highest you’ve cheated is a 12 you just have no clue what your talking about and it sounds like your just arguing to argue without any real experience or knowledge.

Also I agree this affix is horrible and it will go down as one of the worst only because the duration is so short if they made it like 25 seconds it may be worth it.

There is no need for people to spread on that fight lol. Just spread for the mechanic and stack up again. And you stack for heals. Your healer isn’t healing people far far away.
Not wanting to be stacked is very different from “requires you to be spread”. You also don’t need to be stacked with the group for Thundering, you just need to be close enough to reach someone else within 15 seconds.

Now imagine running around while wash away is going and not missing your clear. There’s nothing about that boss mechanic that makes it inevitable to miss the clear. If you miss the clear you made a mistake. It’s not different than running around and making an error with the water and getting knocked in the air and then killed by beam.
Sure, that sucks. But do you think losing 10 seconds or so of the buff is a even a wipe effect, let alone a key brick?
I haven’t done a 15 this season, which is less than 2 weeks old. I’ve done 20+ over and over again the past 3 seasons, and have done enough 10+ this season to see the affix and learn how to manage it.
Why is my 12 a cheat?
It sounds more like people fabricating problems with mechanic overlap that can just be solved by better play and not blaming a “design” problem.

The affix doesn’t have any problems that can’t be fixed with better play (except possibly visual clarity, which I acknowledge is more subjective. I didn’t have any issue with it, but that doesn’t mean no one would). Sorry about your echo chamber.

I forget which visual they used in beta before this one. I think that was clearer compared to now.
I think it might be the worst seasonal affix they have ever released. They need to change it, even if they just make it last longer before you have to get rid of it.

Garbage affix. As if I didnt already had enough bullcrap I have to take care of as a healer. Same with 80-90% of affixes. Trash design that ruins M+ in general

Majority of healers don’t actually want to heal.
I mostly see people in pugs not even bothering. In my experience, 85-90% of the groups almost immediately clear it. It does seem like a very meh affix.

Not really? they come close to the boss if you wait, and if you collect, you literally run out of stuff.
Thundering is the most miserable affix since BfA S1 imo. Not even Prideful was this bad.

The RNG nature of it is imo unacceptable for keys. Make it so you have to stand in the swirls to get the buff and thatd fix it. Need to run to your runes for odyn? Too bad you got a thundering and now youre dead. Swirls every where in big bird? Well heres a thundering and you cant get to teammate and youre dead again. Cant see where anyone is because the only working way to locate someone under trash is a chat bubble? Too bad youre dead again.
It isn’t RNG, it’s every 1:15 of combat paused when you aren’t in combat. The only RNG in this affix is which players get which debuffs.
Not saying this is necessary, but I have a weakaura that tells me when the next one is coming. I tell my friends things like “we’ll get thundering 3s into this pull, be ready”.

It also pings if you can clear at the 3s mark on the debuff, which I’ve found useful.
