Thunderfury question

just a question regarding thunderfurry as as transmog and acquiring it. namely because a lot of things have changed so i’m not sure what is what

  1. are the bindings account tradeable? e.g. if i get a binding on DH but a 2nd binding on an alt. can i trade it over to complete them or no? (i’d guess no)
  2. can I get the transmog after completing the item on any character or only those who can equip it? To my knowledge any class can drop the bindings and make the item. but you won’t get the transmog unless they can equip it. is this true? and if it is, is that tradeable within a warband to someone else?

That’s a good question if bindings are warbound might be time to grind it

I’m assuming they aren’t. but it’s a curios question. that would make farming it much faster

  1. They are bind on pickup, not warbound.
  2. I believe anyone can get the transmog now, but the sword is BoP and requires you to equip it for the achievement.

well the achievement I don’t care for so much. the transmog however I do

edit: time to leave some alts near molten core for a few weeks. they dont’ get any other play so why not.

Binding are soulbound, not warbound.

You can xmog across any character though. I have it on my paladin from 12 years ago and using the xmog on a twink rogue I made years ago.

do you need to leave molten core on the toon you clear it with for the pieces? or will they auto get kicked out the following week?

I’m not entirely certain, honestly. I’ve always left, but I presume that you get automatically removed if you stick around past the reset if you don’t extend your lockout.

They should get kicked out and sent to where their hearthstone is.

At least that is how it worked when I tried to get the raptor mount from Cata ZG on several alts.
