Thunder strike Ward should be a passive for Lightning Shield. This doesn’t really need another button to add.
It’s a good skill/talent too.

My biggest issue is it requires a Shield to use. I really, really prefer to use 2H Caster Maces.
Agreed. This solves the issue of another buff to track, and the need for a shield.
