Anyone think it might have been possible foreshadowing that we now have the “Crossroads” cinematic featuring Thunder Bluff and back in the Emerald Nightmare raid we had the Crossroads as the only city that was depicted?
I’ve also kinda wondered if Sylvanas’s actions could be tied to manipulation by Yogg-Saron. She did impale herself on a spike of Saronite, I’ve wondered if a piece might still be in there. Could explain why she’s helped work toward the goals of the Old Gods like using the dagger to lead us to Nazjatar where another ally of the Old Gods makes use of us in freeing someone who could potentially free them all setting up some more big baddies for expansions.
Plus if Sylvanas is being manipulated by Yogg-Saron then the teasing of Thunder Bluff in the nightmare, a place corrupted by Yogg, and her coming to destroy it could all tie together.
Who knows…just mental ramblings.

That’s interesting. It was also attacked by the void during the highmountain unlock scenario, wasn’t it?

Void infused pig men rampaging in the Tauren starting area. What evil hath the old gods wrought?
The Old Gods have no control over the dead. It’s why they fear them so much and why they kept whispering to Alleria to kill her sister constantly. It’s also why they refer to the dead as the “true enemy”. Well, at least whoever is on control of death in the WoW universe, we still don’t know who Bwonsamdi answers to.
don’t stretch too much, highmountain was deathwing lair
The problem with that is. They did not no about the trap. So she have be controlled without knowing it. Which would add depth. Still want to know why he went deeper in the ocean and why they look for that eye.
It was also almost diverged into the shadowlands in the heritage armor unlock scenario
I’m thinking either Kel’thuzad or…
Hakkar, the Soulflayer.
I think it’s more along the lines whoever the death equivalent of the Titans are. The Light has the Naruu, Life the Wild Gods, Order has the Titans, Shadow has the Void Lords and Old Gods, Disorder had the Burning Legion/fel, and Death has to have something like that as well.
Not to put it so plainly, but the Reaper or whoever. Someone who watches over the Shadowlands.
Tauren Predate the old gods. Old gods hate tauren for living, Unlock the mystery of the cow and conquer everything.
That’s the thing, I don’t think there is a leader of the Shadowlands.
I am telling you, there is something there. Working behind the scenes, an avatar of death. Something or someone that the Void Lords and by association the Old Gods fear and call “the true enemy”. Something that both Bwonsamdi and Sylvanas follow.
I don’t know what, and I don’t know their overall purpose. But there are things that happen in game that allude to this.
There is something out there, but I don’t think it’s really… a name. More of an all consuming force.
The new Tauren Heritage armor quest has restless spirits attacking Thunder Bluff and Mulgore, so yeah, some mystical stuff being churned up.
Also, the Tauren armor looks FANTASTIC.
Sylvanas can try but she will fail
We taurens ain’t weak like night elves and Zandalari trolls who can’t defend their homeland

She’s not going to attack Thunderbluff. You can quote me on this, her real target is Stormwind. So when Anduin empties most of Stormwind of a majority of it’s military assets to help protect Baine’s home, she will strike and wipe it off the face of the planet.
Yep with that big cannon in goblin harbour in Azshara
