Need advice from experienced DHs about Screaming Brutality!
What is better throw last charge of Throw Glaive and use after Blade Dance, to an extra throw of TG (remember old information in DF season 3 or 4, not sure is this correct atm, that if you have no Throw Glaive charges ready, Throw Glaive activated with Blade Dance will deal 50% damage or less) or just use Blade Dance when ready and ignore Throw Glaive charges?
Hi there! Iâm not super experienced with havoc, and am mostly playing vengeance this season but will try to help. As far as I know, with screaming brutality you should never need to manually throw glaive any more, the only time being when playing Aldrachi and you have a Reavers Glaive, since Screaming Brutality will not throw the Reavers Glaive for you. Since screaming will throw for you, this activates soulscar without you needing to manually throw the glaives at all. Hopefully a more experienced havoc player can back me up on this to make sure im not spreading misinformation, but from what i have learned thus far is that you shouldnt really ever need to manually throw glaive outside of reavers. Hope that helps!
Did a little research, tested a lot, removing main talents, then adding each talent little by little again, yes indeed, if 0 charges of a Throw Glaive, next Throw Glaive caused by Blade Dance , will deal 35% damage (as extra Screaming Brutality talent 35% Throw Glaive).
Iâm probably wrong, but sounds like loss of damage, with Champion/Master of the Glaive we have 2 charges of TG, our TG leaves a decent amount of bleed damage, TG is more priority than a Chaos Strike ((cause bleeds?) and only out of Meta with haste buffs as BL, PI, etc. that reduce Blade Dance CD)? So, we must always launch one of two charges of TG ourselves, because second one will be activated by Blade Dance, Ńorrect me if Iâm wrong. Just think that without bursts we will always have an extra charge of TG with Champion/Master of the Glaive talents.
Itâs not a damage loss. You donât use a GCD and there is no place or time TG is more priority than chaos strike. CS is essentially a fury generator via souls and by generating more souls, if running AR, you get more reaver glaives.
You want to keep charges of TG because of the screaming brutality talent anyways because its going to do more damage than if you used TG yourself.
Look at the rotation on Wowhead and icy-veins. Not one will say to press it. With all of the passive glaive talents the soulscar damage should be near top most M+ pulls and in ST content. Example in my heroic sprocketmonger kill my TG/Soulscar did a combine 97.44m damage and was the most damaging abilities and I never pressed TG manually.
Yes, now I use TG only if everything else is on cooldown and cooldown of second charge of TG same with BD, or in case of a gap in distance due to combat mechanics.
You shouldnât use it if everything else is on CD, youâre wasting fury that could be used for chaos strike. Literally just donât touch it unless youâre out of range.
