After the defeat of the last boss the dialogue has dropped the raid reference. And maybe something else too.
Is this confirmation they’re canceling the raid from 14 years ago?

I don’t even remember any reference to any raid, I just remember Neputlon or whoever getting stolen by some squid
Back in Cata the zone’s quest chain and the way Throne ended led us to believe we still had more to do to rescue Neptulon, it was supposed to lead to a water raid.
It’s my understanding that he managed to master the Kraken in Legion? Though they may have cut that out as well for some reason.
In either case, I saw both the kraken and Neputlon back in Nazjatar behind the waterwall.

It really annoyed me at the time, that was the first time I felt that the WoW team/Blizz had just left something out that impacted the story.
I’m sure it had happened before that, but I got into the quest chain, got into the story, and that was the only reason I was willing to slog through the water zone in the first place because let’s face it most water zones stink.
