Unable to run both normal AND heroic ToT in the same week for some reason. Clearing it on NORMAL, then walking out, setting legacy raid difficult on heroic, and walking back in, I get dumped into a 12/13 cleared instance of HEROIC ToT, which I very much have not cleared yet.
Even setting it to 10 player heroic dumps me into a 12/13 cleared 25 player heroic, which again, I have not cleared this week.
You can’t run more that one instance (whatever difficulty) of Legacy Raids in a week. This isn’t a bug. It’s been like this for ages. The only exception to this rule is LFR difficulty, which is a different lockout, but normal through mythic of legacy raids is one lockout.
Legacy raids are anything from WoD and older. You can run multiple difficulties of Legion raids, as well as current BfA raids.
This is incorrect, as you may run multiple difficulties of Siege in the same weeks. Siege, however is the oldest raid that this is possible.

Answers the question I was having. I knew Siege I could (cause I have). But accidentally ran ToT on normal instead of Heroic. Wasnt sure if I could run Heroic after
Had a bug on this in ToT. I Set difficulty to 10man Normal for axe Uroe, Harbinger of Terror Blue and gold colors. Did not do this instance on heroic at all but the difficulty change to heroic as I went in. I saw this and went back out, and verified it was on normal which it was but I changed the 10 man to 25man and went back in. Same problem, I was at the beginning of heroic staring at a fresh raid.
So, different legacy difficulties have different colored drops. how do i specify which ones are dropping? as of my post there are no more legacy difficulties. just sizes. 10 or 25.
did they merge the loot pool or something?
Why did you use a 6 year old bug report to ask this question? As for the answer, I’ll get back to you in 2 minutes when I’ve flown to a pandaria raid to verify that they still follow the normal difficulty options, assuming they have those difficulties available.
Yup, you literally just change the difficulty as normal.
