Three Mythic Groups. All Flopped

And two of them ended at the last boss.

Deeeeep breaths.

Today is just an unlucky day for this wee Mechagnome.

Is any day a lucky day to be a gnome of any variety

No such thing as luck in keys.

when are people going to learn, nobody gives a care about super groups?

what’s the best any of them have done? 1… 0… hits?

*insert “first time” meme here"

as a pugger that seems normal. sucks it wastes time but its the normal atm

All 3 runs had one thing in common. But it was likely just bad luck.

nonsense portalbot, im sure when you go single digit for key % in all of your logged runs you have a very high timed rate.

Doing a gilded crest grind on an alt and mostly through pugging has me feeling like I’m in the trenches. The old superstitions are returning to me.

“Can’t have a tank from this server because they’ll do these esoteric ‘skips’ and wipe the group a bunch, blame everyone else, and leave.”

“I know I should bring the highly geared, meta class for this but the suboptimal spec and mid gear score is a good luck charm.”

not really sure what that means  I wasn’t in any of those runs

It’s called pushing, not winning, for a reason. You will fail more keys than you time by a large margin, especially if you are doing keys for score. :man_shrugging:

Raid is probably just as bad, except there’s no wipe count or timers to stop you from progression.

What key level? I have found that anything under a 10 is now a nightmare.

Im working on all 10s as healer and decided to work my way up to high keys but each higher level got easier. 4s and 5s felt like i was trying to carry a bunch of potatoes. By comparison some 10s feel like ez mode even with undergeated people.

There is no server I avoid other than OCE servers and that’s purely a lag thing. Score and ilvl is the only metrics that dictate an invite (and name but TBH I haven’t seen any super egregious names I actively wanted to avoid this week)…and this absolutely means people too high for the target key level.

I NEVER trust someone typing “3k+ alt” in their note. RIO links your alts and you only need like 200 or something score for the main score to show up with signing up. If RIO doesn’t know your alt, fix it on your end because no way in hell am I trusting you.

Also if you are 675+ and doing sub 10’s, YOU are the problem when you decide that pugs can do that 6 pack lust pull or just blindly assume they know the MDI race skips. Keep that stuff in the +15’s and above where it belongs. People still dealing with hot goth mommy Xally NEVER need to do anything beyond a reasonable 2 pack pull with hero/lust on bosses to time (let alone likely +2) their keys.

As always the wise advice I always give holds true. Don’t invite “pumpers” to your keys…take your peers. People your own ilvl and score are FAR more likely to play at your own tempo and speed. Let some other group chance that “pumper”. A real pumper knows 12’s are the lowest they should be going anyway so why a real one would be going lower is very sketchy at best.
