"Three Decades’ Worth of Fun"- pay now to receive rewards

You are like some people I deal with at work that dont get it. The entitlement is strong in some. I cant walk into a grocery store, go to the deli counter, and say Ive been coming there for years and have spent thousands of dollars so I should get a pound of salami for free. Its never going to happen. They offer a service or product and you decide whether you are going to buy or use it. If you dont like it then you dont, but some people expect the world to shift for them and would rather sit there arguing for an hour about why they deserve salami.

I saw the bear in game last night. It is really nice.

I’m really tempted to get… the netherwhelp. My greatest regret is not being able to get the BC CE due to low supply and high demand.

Disagree. When companies actually “CELEBRATING” there are huge discounts for items.

30 years together and giving FREE mount as “CELEBRATION” GIFT.

If you want milk more money , you don’t have to hide items under “CELEBRATION” tag. Just make them available in shop.

This is like if, at Christmas, Santa woke all the kids up and demanded cash before leaving any toys behind.

Other than the spikes it looks like an actual polar bear. :slightly_smiling_face:

To be honest, the 30th anniversary celebration items should be FREE as a thank you for those of us who have stuck around for 10, 20, or even 30 of those years.

Instead it’s like “Show your loyalty to our BRAND by buying these things and showing your friends how much you love BLIZ.”

It comes off the wrong way.

Well first, I’m an orc. We love spikes.:rofl:

Second, the idle animation is pretty cool. Still not sure on the purchase though.

False. Many companies sell specific anniversary items. Even the Olympics, Hallmark, Star Wars, Disney, restaurants, etc. do this.

And again, THIS IS THE BLIZZCON SWAG BUNDLE. If you don’t know how this works after Blizzcon existing for over a decade, that’s a you issue.

The difference is the grocery store has to buy that salami so they can sell it to you.

A more apt comparison is going to the meat counter and asking for one of the specialty items the meat counter produces at cost. Just remove the labor piece of the costs (which many grocery store actually do, or charge so little for it it might as well be free)

Now I am not asking for this for free, just saying asking to buy something then give it away for free is a lot different than asking for something that costs labor only. Especially in today’s environment where it could have been made by an intern hoping to get into the art department, someone in another country being paid less than $1 an hour or simply busy work to keep a someone employed instead of laying them off…

you cant really complain, the last virtual ticket items for blizzcon was a cape transmog LOL

I love how the forums are baffled at the fact that a company fight charge for their product.

Sometimes, Youtube is great isn’t it?

I was usually working so I never saw it live. A few hours later for free and the boring parts cut out was nice.

Also not having to deal with anything outside of WoW was nice
