I’m hoping someone here knows how to disable this function, I can’t seem to find it in the options. I don’t want to see that large text showing what something else is targeting.
Anyone here familiar with this?

0.o why would you want to
but, look for “target of target” in settings.
I don’t want to disable target of target from the base UI, I just want the addon to not display that next to my nameplates. It creates insane clutter in BG’s in team fights.
It’s showing that regardless of if I’m targeting that specific enemy. So i’ll see like 30+ “target of targets” in a big fight lol
oh, fair. I may have misunderstood.
there’s a way to move individual elements in threatplates, but I no longer use it so can’t log in to see where that was, sorry.
Crisis averted I figured it out, only took an hour of me pulling out my hair lol
How you gonna figure it out and not share
Unrelated question, but did Blizz incorporate any of the vastly superior target/buff/debuff display from ThreatPlates into their UI overhaul?
If not, come on Blizz… those target frames were bad in 2004 but these days…
Not that I saw. They didn’t really deep-dive that far into it from my experience. Mostly things just look updated and you can move them around.
That’s a shame. I’m convinced a lot of the worst aspects of the new player experience are made worse by simply having a UI that makes it almost impossible to see casts, buffs and debuffs more clearly.
The default target bars themselves to me still look atrocious at this point in the Beta. I don’t like anything about them. The ability to show debuffs and such on them doesn’t appear to be much different to me than what’s currently live, but I could be mistaken. I just know that they’re terrible looking. I was showing a buddy of mine some DF stuff over Discord the other day and one of the first things he said was how awful they look compared to addons we already have.
There’s lots of good things about all the new UI stuff, but a few nitpicky ones that are too much to overlook for me, so I’ll continue to rely on addons.
soooo how do you remove the target? I need to know lol
