The xp required to level should be reduced in thread of fate. Dungeon leveling is way slower in shadowlands compared to BFA

I think the XP is basically fine. What’s soul-crushingly bad is the monotony of the bonus objectives and how little you gain from completing the criteria. Kill 10 mobs? Grats, 9% improvement. Click a statue? Cool, 1.8% improvement.
It’s the most anti-fun experience I’ve had in wow, and so far the only anti-fun experience I’ve had this expansion.

If the level 60 content is available at 50 when you choose Threads of Fate, why does the speed of getting to 60 matter?
Torghast and Maw arent available, same for souldbinds and stuff.
But yeah, i prefer TOF honestly, the Campaign has too much Role playing and its exhausting.
Its basically this:
Campaign: Faster Leveling.
TOF: Better leveling.

I got 2 lvls out of like 4 or 5 dungeons, what are you on about?
Except we have access to like 5% of the lvl 60 content. Yes we can grind anima sooner, but itll take twice as longer to get to 60 vs campaign. 8k xp for doing a bonus obj is okay at lvl 50 but still getting the same 8k xp at 59 is ridiculous. Its like they are punishing us for not following the story.

Really, you like circling up groups, wiping them out, and making essentially no progress towards any meaningful goals?
Its because its more flexible than the Campaign, by better thats what i meant, you can do whatever you want.
Do that bonus, do dungeons, farm mats, do the secondary missions, you can choose which zones to do in any order, etc.
Areas arent blocked, you dont have to sit trough LONG role playing sections, etc.
Flexible.

Not gonna lie, I think Fates is what has utterly killed my interest in playing. Instead of being excited to login I load in and feel “ugh ok I gotta fill this bar up so I can progress but if I don’t fill it enough in this zone I’ll have to back track”.
NEVER should have used it but it’s too late to undo so I’m screwed and thanks to my usual crew abandoning me I’ve got little desire to play

when flying comes out, provided it is account wide, tof should be quicker?
It shouldn’t be FASTER but my god does it need a buff on some activities.

The biggest downside is truly how far the side quests are w/o the campaign to weave you between them.
Those bonus objectives leave a lot to be desired. They literally progress 1% at a time and take forever for trivial amounts of xp (about 1 or 2 quests worth).
With a few exceptions, you can reliably just skip the “bonus”. It is just a “bonus” to your overall leveling time spent (it takes longer).
I just rerun the campaign tbh. It’s fairly quick and it gives me time to listen to audio books and what-not.
