Threads of fate for a new player?

My friend wants to get the elf customization from the Eyes of the Wolf questline in Oribos but has no interest in questing in shadowlands, especially now that we will be playing Dragonflight in the next couple days. She did the introduction to get to oribos and Greymane isn’t there.

If she uses a level 60 boost on an alt, will she be able to skip the shadowlands campaign on her main by talking to Fatescribe Roh-Tahl and immediately start Eyes of the Wolf?

I believe you have to do the story one time first.

You can only skip it if you have done it on another character.

I was under the impression that a level 60 boosted character acts as if they had activated threads of fate and completed the campaign automatically, is that not the case? Or would it only apply to the boosted character and would not complete the campaign on on the account?

Your account needs to be checked off when doing shadowlands content

You’re still required to do the shadowlands campaign before getting the end of expansion quests such as that one

Do you know how it might work now that shadowlands is in timewalking? Can we do the whole campiagn on an alt as a way to level up and then skip it on her main once that’s complete? Or would she need to be level 60 to do the shadowlands campaign?

Did your friend choose a covenant?

When I hit 60 on this character earlier today, the Threads of Fate didn’t pop, but when I logged back in at level 60 it did. Then I was able to choose a covenant. The quest wont pop, until your friend chooses a covenant, they don’t have to do anything with it, just choose it, then the quest giver will appear, right in the same room.

I did do the SL quests on a different account, but not this one and Threads of Fate still showed up for me.
