Thrall's new weapon

When I saw “Safe Haven” cinematic, to the very end when Thrall grabbed that axe at the end and I just felt like I had a deja vu moment. Like back in Legion he lost the powers of Doomhammer and was given to the shaman players, but in this cinematic he soon gets a new weapon in the form of an axe. Doesn’t it remind you that Thrall is certainly like Thor in Avengers when you put some thought into it. Thor lost Mjolnir but soon got Stormbreaker and that scene certainly makes you truly believe that Thrall is certainly Thor of World of Warcraft. I can’t deny everyone calling him Jesus Thrall, but to me he’s more like Thor Thrall.

It’d be great if, when he got close to someone wielding Doomhammer, he says “You can have the small one.”

Thrall’s been more like a Green Moses anyway when you consider the orc campaign in WC3.

Except he fights on the bad guys team.

I thoroughly enjoyed the line “I’m no one’s savior!”

The :smirk: emoticon perfectly describes my facial response to that line.

Thrall is based off of Thor.

His Doomhammer Armor used to show this.

Side note, please don’t spoil anything that was brought up in Avenger’s Endgame for those that hasn’t seen it due to crowded theaters. Please and thanks

Sorry dude. Have to disagree. The Alliance is just as capable of being corrupt as the Horde. Thrall’s former “master” proves that.

If anyone is interested in a full history of the conflict between these two factions, I recommend reading ‘World of Warcraft: Chronicles.’ Very interesting read!

So sylvanas is good?

Anyone else catch that slight smile on his face?

Sylvanas is not good whatsoever. The Horde is just waiting for Thrall to show up so we can start another military coup, just like we did to Garrosh. Who was the worst Warchief.

I know if only he would fight for the horde once in a while. Instead he keeps joining team Human Paladin.

No, that proves nothing about “the Alliance” that proves that not all Humans are good or even representative of “The Alliance.” Just like an individual member of any given race in the Horde does not make them the poster child for that faction.

However, the Horde, as a faction, was spawned out of evil. It came to Azeroth on a mission of evil, even if there were members who just needed a new home. Under Guldan, it was bad. Full stop.

Thrall and influences like Baine balanced that out, gave it a different charter. Garrosh took it back to being bad and under Sylvanas you have not a Garrosh bad direction but a Guldan level leadership and charter for the Horde. So I praise Blizz for giving players the option to play Horde and be honest with themselves and either choose evil or try to maintain the struggle the faction has always had trying to curb its foundation in evil and choose a different path.

Alliance has had better and lesser leadership but be real. The Horde, the Orcs in particular, they don’t represent indigenous POC struggling against European imperialism and slavery here, they and The Horde are the invaders and if you want to put too fine a point on it, it’s only because of individuals like Thrall or Baine that they shouldn’t be wiped out to make the world safer for everyone, including whoever remains from the Horde.

If Thrall becomes warchief again it will be pretty disappointing.

Though I’m fairly certain it will be Saurfang. It should have been Saurfang ages ago.
