For the past two days, my world latency has been between 500 - 25000 spiking all over the place. I have been disconnecting constantly. My home latency stays between 30 - 70. Everything else on my connection works without any interruption and my ISP is reporting no problems.
Anyone else having this issue? Seems like it but I feel this isn’t an ISP problem. I’ve seen a few friends have this problem days ago and it cleared up but it makes no sense. I normally over my years of WoW never have an issue unless it’s a patch day or expansion day.

Doesn’t seem to be a widely-reported issue on Thrall. Have you checked a WinMTR or looking glass report to the server?
I have a looking glass report, though how do I post it to the thread since it has links in it?

Definitely looking at an issue with Comcast. The server tried to ping you, and sometimes it can reach you without issue, and other times 50% of the data isn’t making it through Comcast’s network. This issue can be pinpointed better with a WinMTR if you’re super curious, but overall it’s just going to require them to get involved to repair this, so give them a call.
I’ve come now to find that it is Raider IO. if this add on is not consistently updated then it causes latency issues
I sometimes forget to update mine but haven’t run into this issue. Maybe it’s conflicting with another addon.
funny how you found out it was Raider IO and not your ISP as suggested, or am I reading this wrong?
Retract my Raider IO statement. So if I was to contact my ISP, what would I need to ask them? As this problem only persists with WoW. I have tested GW, GW2 and ESO, Speedtest, other games and no issues at all.

Would you be able to provide a WinMTR test? It’s different than the Looking-Glass test you provided earlier:
Download WinMTR
Unzip the file to your desktop
Run the WinMTR as Admin
Type your server IP in “host”.
Click “Start” and open the game. Let the MTR test run for at least 10 minutes to capture this issue occurring.
Click “Copy text to clipboard”
Type two sets of four squiggly lines and then paste the contents of the WinMTR test between:~~~~ Paste WinMTR Test Results Here ~~~~

A lot of players are reporting issues with Comcast in New England. Testing an alternative network, like smartphone data, seems to resolve the connection problem for others. This lets us know that the issue is with the ISP’s network or routing peers. I recommend calling them up.
Makes sense then. People around here in general have some sort of issue with Comcast lately. I usually never do and have been a customer for a long time.
Any idea what I should tell them? Ask them if there is connection problems to blizzard? I do not have the means for an alternative network. I play solely wired connection and my PC does not have wireless capabilities installed
That you can’t connect to Blizzard services or the connection is spotty. The test results will also help.
Hi. It’s not just Comcast it seems. I use Wide Open West (Wow) in the Detroit area and I am experiencing similar issues as you. My WinMTR looks similar.

You do have 10% packet loss on your first isp hop. It doesn’t persist, but this is hardly an immaculate winmtr test.
