Thrall calling you "maw walker"

Who else here find this stupid and iritating that all the main characters now call you “maw walker” instead of “champion” like every other xpack?

Personnaly, I find this dumb, iritating and a certain lack of continuity in the story line.

I really think we need Magni here to inform them the proper way to greet us by screaming CHAMPION when we enter a world quest.

“Maw Walker” feels like a placeholder name the writer came up with after watching Blade and binging on Cheetos, then they forgot to replace it.

Oh god.

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if all the NPCs mounted up in the Maw during a cutscene with you, and just laughed at your character?

I’m starting to think that nobody wants to use my name because it’s an adjective and that’s irritating to them.

They do the same thing with Cute, Small, and Lumpy.

I bet when they lol’ed around water cooler with mawrats(Mallrats) Ion was walking by and said “hey lets drop champion and call players Maw walkers…since ya know they can’t use mounts”…

After hearing Magni say it all the time, I’m okay with this.

Least when Khadgar calls me champion he’s just so charismatic and dorky I can’t be mad. ( Also he sometimes would say Netherlord, that was nice )

I’d rather be called Maw Walker rather than “champion”. It got boring after all this time.

Personal preference: I’d rather they didn’t call us anything, like: Hey, you! go there and kill those bosses

It actually been “Champion” for quite a while now.

Panda, Draenor, Legion, BFA, and then maw walker.

The whole Maw Walker thing has a major plot hole (tbh that has been around since BFA). We’re supposed to be Azeroth’s Champion. Singular. And that’s the reasoning for the fact we can “walk” the maw.

So how come i defeat Denatrius with 29 other Maw Walkers?
