First global? Can’t peel my teammates for 15 seconds? Enemies pop cd’s? I literally can’t do anything? Where is the counterplay? Atleast make it a cast time? Atleast make it like dark sim?
Are you able to counter spell, frost nova, ring of frost, etc. still? Not defending current thought steal, but there may be some stuff you can still do to help peel. Maybe counter pressure?

I’ll counterspell the ret pally so he doesn’t do any damage to my partner.
I’ll counterspell the warrior who doesn’t do any damage to my partner
I’ll frost nova the warrior who is bladestorming on my partner
I’ll frost nova the ret pally who has freedom up whilst doing damage on my partner
I guess the only thing I can do is ring of frost. So everytime I vs a priest team…because they have a spell with 0 counterplay…I need to spec into ring of frost…just for that 1 ability with a 1 min 30 seconds that has absolutely 0 counter play in the game.
I don’t think you realize how retarded it is to stop a mage from casting polymorph for 15 seconds INSTANTLY. There needs to be a cast time on it. It needs to work like Dark Sim. There needs to be some sort of skillshot to this BROKEN ability.

It’s a poorly thought out ability. It would still be broken even if it didn’t let the priest cast polymorph, that is just icing on top.
Not really sure why they gave it to priest, the class already has tools to deal with mage: death, mass dispel, grip your polyd healer into some aoe
You actually get punished for trying to play around it because the cooldown resets if you intentionally don’t cast polymorph
