I don’t know what to think, I want to be excited but I don’t know what the game is about. is it just a continuation of DF?
Right now im super excited for it.
Looks set to breathe fresh life in to the game.
I mean, there is a solo end game pillar with seasonal rewards, and account wide rep.
The zones look great.
I really want to know all of the hero talents. Some serious rp potential for your character there.
And the story seems like its going to be epic.

Not much. Not really sure what they’re actually about yet. Just ideas right now. Still got like a year before it matters.
The void trying to take over and exploring why the titans do what they do.
Dealing with the giant sword and the impact its had on azeroth.
Were at the start of a cosmic storyline.
what sword?
Thrall drama?
What about Anduin uncontrollably sobbing, while Thrall awkwardly backs away out of the scene?
Thus far…with the given info we have been provided…seems lackluster to me. Not excited for the new race, and the zones seem ok…not sure how this three expansion over a shorter period of time thing. I’ll play…as I always do…but I’m worried I’ll get bored like I did during WoD and Cata and take breaks…
Too early to judge I think…these are my early thoughts and I’m just not…excited.

It’s basically an Expansion with 2 Major Patches per year.
Instead of one expansion, we now have three “premium priced” expansions coming to tell the next story. And they want to release them faster. It almost feels like we’ll be paying for patches instead of expansions, under the guise of the name “expansion”.

Where would I go to get the full rundown on this? Wowhead? I saw the box art and I gotta say it has me intrigued. I would say something about enjoying the Underdark but we just got a very lame cavern system with talking moles. Though on that note maybe we can only move up from there?
Unless I’m misreading The War Within as somehow “within” azeroth itself, like an underground journey to the center of the earth type thing. Guess I won’t say more until I’m more sure of what I’m talking about.
They’re going the destiny model, which was shown in the leaks. Its going to be micro-expansions from here on out, am I excited? Not really.

They cost too much, imo. It’s one expansion per year. That’s basically just DLC that they’re charging twice as much for.

We get an Island Zone on the surface followed by 3 Cave Zones beneath it.

Dang guys, I’ve been checked out of story all expansion and that cinematic actually has me feeling positive. Gonna watch the overview next!
