Thoughts on skillcapped sub

Anyone here subscribed to skillcapped? As a 2200-2300 rated 2s player and inexperienced 3s player (just got a new computer, will be pushing 3s this season), do you feel this would be beneficial? I’ve watched most of their free videos on youtube etc and that has definitely helped in the last year or so.

Just curious what your thoughts are about the paid content? It would be great to watch breakdowns of specific strategies against certain comps as specific classes in 2s/3s etc. Don’t see much of that for example in the free videos.

What do you think?

Better off finding a twitch streamer who’s r1 and ask him questions and watch him live.

i got it earlier on. they teach you how to setup your UI and system settings and teach you strats on popular comps and how to beat them. Things like that.

It really depends on where you’re at and it could be useful. So, my suggestion is, if you can afford it, and you want to learn more go for it. But the information isn’t like going to make you amazing overnight. its more for beginner players to slightly intermediate imo.

Definitely like the idea of strats against comps…its kind of the information i’m missing. I feel their free videos helped me quite a bit overtime in terms of UI and system settings. I’m definitely not a beginner, more intermediate I think. Just trying to determine I guess if it’s worth it for someone at my approximate experience (I know, no one can really answer that), or If i’m better off watching twitch streams. The problem with that is it’s often just guys playing and you may not get questions answered or have any breakdown.

Find someone with lower viewers. If you are gonna spend money support players, skillcapped sometimes steals videos from players and uses it without their consent and make money from it.

I remember getting one when it first came out, or maybe when i first heard about it, and ending it pretty early. Seemed like a waste to me. Obviously that’s just an opinion though.

All the information is available to you for free, but if it helps you and its something you want to do, go for it.

If you are fairly new to 3s paying for one month isn’t a bad idea. Most of content you may want to watch for your class will be relevant and you can try to find specific matchups you are struggling with

Outside of that learning first hand or asking a streamer for advice is also good. Sometimes people on the forums will hit you back with good non-troll responses as well.

I checked one out last season, I don’t think they update it enough for it to be useful tbh. Though I mainly checked it out like 5 months deep in the season.

thats why i mentioned that, if youre 2200-2300 in 2’s youre probably slightly above what theyre teaching but idk.

if i were to put it in ratings, skillcapped could help at 1400 player hit 1800 for sure without a doubt. it could help hit 2100, and it’s a steppingstone towards 2400. they give you tools and insider information that you could get from watching streamers, but its better structured and easier to navigate compared to watching a stream.

Free meaning I could watch it from different streams, or available and organized altogether somewhere else?

I think he is referring to watching streamers and talking to people. It’s not readily available since you will need to do the legwork yourself finding the information you want.

I know this series is covering rogue/mage/priest but it has some relevant information to the current state of the game, and how you should approach learning how to play in 3s. There are 3 videos in this series available right now:

This is a good point, was thinking about doing the 1 year…but i can’t imagine them having enough content to make that worth it.

Na, you can watch any videos you want within one month. If at any time you decide you want to rewatch something when you get stuck you can always just pay for one more month.

1 year… to long haha.

I’ll be your personal coach for goodnight kisses

No.

You can get all the same info except expanded on by watching streams lol

Well I tried to watch some videos by some top end wow pvp’ers on twitch yeterday, and many of them require a sub of 3.99/month just to view.
