Curious about what others think.

I take far too much issue currently with being tagged a deserter by the system after incredibly rude gameplay.

#crymore? I hope that’s truly their response. The only one that is in-culture because I am not a willing participant in this game between bullies and players wanting to enjoy battle.net.

I have battle.net’d for over 20 years. Not a WoWer til 35.

I need to hear other’s opinion before I become very angry with either 1) people or 2) the deserter system.

Blizzard needs to remember the nature of the word deserter and perhaps change it. PTSD ought be helped by gaming. Not made more present or more personally dangerous.

Any other vets or service members have thoughts on this?

it wasnt always like this.

it was added to protect us from something far worse.

we, the players, made this addition necessary.

this is the lesser evil.
pray you don’t experience the reason it was added.

Getting vote kicked as a tank by the 3 people who went the wrong way and died and getting a deserter buff as a result is peak tilting.

if 3 people went one way, one can argue you were the one in the wrong… the group was where the 3/5 are.

No. They’re just 3 idiots who went the wrong way and ran into a bunch of mobs with no tank, while me and and the other are guy are already at the next boss.
