Has anyone purchased the DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? What do you think? I am contemplating asking for it for Christmas… But I am not sure how good the gameplay/story is.

I received Scarlet as a Christmas gift last year, and I’m glad I didn’t spend any of my own money on it.
I’m very skeptical of spending the money on the DLC when the base game performs so poorly.

Only pokemon game I never finished. If I get an itch to play it I typically go for gens 1-3 now, usually gen 2 on my 3DS.
If the DLC is good or not I don’t know but I think it’s a pretty safe assumption if someone enjoyed the main game it’d be worth it.
If I were in your shoes I’d pass on them because of how bad the main games are. I bought the dual pack and have zero interest in the DLC unless it gets heavily discounted (and you know that’s not happening).
If you like the older Pokémon games look into a Miyoo Mini Plus. Best $40 I’ve spent in a long time.
