Thoughts on Incoming Class Tuning for Warrior?

I think the buffs are appreciated but doesn’t address the underlying problems that Warriors go through but I think now, Arms will probably outshine Fury with the buffs coming to Mortal Strike, their Bladestorms will hit like a truck. Arms defensives needed some buffs but now we can sit in DStance more knowing that our damage has been buffed.

Fury also sees buffs but I’m theorizing that it will be weaker than arms with the fact that Arms bring more utility in Arenas through a higher healing reduction effect. Although, when facing against kiter classes (Mages, Hunters, Vokers), Fury will always have a little more uptime than Arms do. Would like to know what you all think about these.

Arms
* Slayer: Culling Cyclone now increases Bladestorm’s damage done by 20% (was 10%) per stack in PvP combat.
* Slam damage increased by 40% in PvP combat.
* Colossus Smash damage increased by 60% in PvP combat.
Fury
* Slayer: Culling Cyclone now increases Bladestorm’s damage done by 20% (was 10%) per stack in PvP combat.

execute on fury already hits harder than the arms one, so its a bigger buff for fury. the rampage buff and mortal strike buff are equivalent in my eyes. overpower buff is the only thing thats better and its not going to bridge the large gap between fury and arms. Fury will still be better by a fair margin.

simply not the case when you factor that fury’s healing reduction is higher than the base MS effects and has alot higher uptime than sharpen blade.

Damage buffs are always nice but the problem warriors have right now is that they literally can’t hit ranged champions with the insane amount of CC in the game. That can’t really be addressed without buffing Warrior mobility (which is a bad idea) or re-designing PvP to have less micro CC (Blizzard is too incompetent to do this).

Zug zug somethin need doin?

true. we’ll see how these specs shift soon. overall a very much appreciated buffs.

I dont mind being unviable fotms can get off my spec

keep in mind I havent played a single game since week2
how easy will it be to gain another 200 points after this and with any recent inflation? (need that illusion)

Blizzard will never remove micro CCs. What we needed was an addition to our abilities that make us immune to roots & snares (not stuns and fears) for a period of time.

For example, I’m a huge advocate of having our Avatar mke us immune to roots and snares for its duration. This will only work if avatar is activated directly and not through Beserker’s Torment. I feel like a 1.5min cd is justifiable for this buff.
