Thoughts on fae transfusion?

So the night fae ability for shamans is finally shown:

Fae Transfusion Night Fae
40 yd range
Channeled (3 sec cast) 2 min cooldo
Transfer the life force of up to 8 enemies in the targeted area, dealing (25% of Spell power + 25% of Attack power) Nature damage every 0.5 sec for 3 sec.

Pressing Fae Transfusion again within 10 sec will release 75% of all damage from Fae Transfusion, healing up to 8 allies near yourself.

Looks interesting, but not as impressive as I’d hoped. What are your thoughts on this stacking up to the other options for shaman?

Great in very niche situations.

Don’t see it better than vespar totem or the chain harvest thing under normal sitations.

If you dont need the extra healing at all and just want a DPS cooldown for m+, it can be nice.

Sounds like it relies on a lot of stacking to work optimally, which sounds nice but seldom the case. I feel it will be mostly lackluster.
