Really? When I see athletes get injured in games, they often pause the game till medical help is administered and the injured are off the field. Capitilize to a point would be a better phrase, else why are their rules for anything?
- They do not need to wait, money is on the line and Pikaboo’s connectivity is not their concern.
- Simultaneously, we got to see a better team than them wait, and win anyway in a mirror match up. The best teams will wait, because they know it won’t change the outcome
- Dorito / Saul / Laros care more about money than they do about what randoms online think about them
- Does it make them look a bit weird, yeah probably. But can’t get mad at it.
Wasn’t Laros on a BM hunter for several rounds of past tournaments when it was busted? You’re doing the same thing.
I believe it DOES state in the AWC rules that you’re required to “play to win” even in the event of a DC.
That doesn’t mean that people always do, as some wait and some don’t. At the end of the day, I don’t fault F-tier at all and would’ve respected either choice.

Not gonna lie though Combat Rogue is still insanely strong. I mean Whaaz just won EU and swept 10 straight matches in a row on his Rogue. So not even sure why Pika thought he needed to reroll to Feral in the first place.

prob difference in EU vs NA tournament metas. Might have been different matchups if the move was playing against boomie/rogue and vice versa if echo was playing against a spriest/feral (this distinction is worth mentioning as well, idk how you can say one team specifically are fotm scumbags when they’re playing a mirror comp in the championship)
So, the consensus is…. We can’t fault f tier for doing what they did, although it would have looked good for them publicity wise to have waited. Overall, they did nothing wrong because it’s literally in the rules to kill while they’re d/c. Case closed.

Except we don’t care how we look to randoms on the internet especially because any publicity is good publicity.
It is also mind boggling that the only people that care about it are complete nobodies while the move themselves have stated multiple times it’s fine and they don’t care.
