How hard are Brewmaster Monks to play in Mythic+?
BM’s got hit with the blanket tank nerf pretty hard. I think they all went windwalker.

I enjoy tanking on my Demon Hunter. They’re in a pretty solid spot right now, right?
Well the tier list I looked at has Vengeance below Brewmaster for M+ so go for it I guess.
Not that it means much but all 6 tank specs have timed a +22 key.
+23 is the highest timed key.
I know people are going to say “just play what you like.” But I like not struggling in Mythic+ and would enjoy an easier experience.
Then Prot warrior or Bear are your best bets for m+ tanks right now.
Tier lists are bad and you should feel bad for quoting a random one that’s this bad.

What other semi-official metric do you have? Op already said he knows the “just play what you like”.
Hey OP just put all the tanks specs on a wall and toss a dart at it then play that one.

Oh ok so Brewmasters are dead last per your list and not second to last from the one I looked at. Nice to know!
1- It’s not “my” list
2- It’s the actual stat breakdown of what tank has completed the actual keys, with the number of keys in the sample in the bottom right.

As much as I love my brewmaster, I don’t recommend playing them in M+ right now. Sure, its doable on any tank, but you are going to struggle MUCH MUCH harder than most other tanks, especially prot warrior, to achieve the same results. It is doable, but it is going to be a strain on you mentally. It was for me atleast.

So it’s just how many people play that spec for M+ and not any indication of how easy/hard they are to play outside of the fact that more people tend to play the easiest specs.
OP didn’t ask about how hard or easy the spec was to play.
He asked about if it would be good in M+.
And someone (you) quipped Vengeance was in a worst spot than BrM for M+, which is patently false, or it wouldn’t be the 3rd most played tank in 20+ keys.

I don’t know how good they are, but hard, they aren’t. Super fun though. I really love BrM. I just can’t play WW.
This is a very helpful answer, thanks. That’s one of the reasons I didn’t enjoy Discipline. It just felt lkke too much work for the same results.
I have a Death Knight, but I just don’t enjoy their lack of mobility. Once you’ve played DHs, Monks, and Evokers, it’s hard to go back to running around everywhere. At least that’s how it is for me.
dont know about M+ but the wife is tossing fits about her BM monk taking so much damage.
Ive watched herplaying and shes doing it right but for some reason its either bugged on her end or something seems to have seriously been nerfed.
I dont ever remember having any problem in any content on Brewmaster. Always seemed to be overly strong.

I said the list I happened to look at had them lower. If the the OP really wanted they could do the google fu themselves but decided to ask here instead so we could argue and post pretty pictures for them!
I was playing a Brewmaster and doing fine but whatever they did when they tuned all the tank classes I started taking alot more damage. I went from taking on rares and world bosses just fine to struggling. I suspect BM got caught in the crossfire aimed at the other tanks.
