I’ve heard arcane is one of the more forgiving caster’s currently due to its high mobility into melee. Considering leveling one up for arena. Any insight into Arcane in the current meta (2s, 3s, Rss) regarding your experience, playstyle required, tips, good comps, strats, things you wish you knew earlier etc, would be greatly appreciated!
It’s very hard to play
Once you’re the best it’s super duper good and is impossible to kill
Does okay damage. You need to be spell stealing optimally and getting sheeps

Just annoying to play against you can never catch them an d they have so many out of jail cards.
Sometimes I prefer to just try to mongo zog the other dps over focusing arcane.
At least meme arcanosphere isnt played otherwise id cry OP spec
One of the harder specs to play. Once you learn the play style it’s very good. Not beginner friendly.

I disagree with whoever told you that
Arcane is not where I would recommend someone learn to play caster in general or even mage. It’s hard to have one school and relatively low passive mitigation against all types of damage, if you don’t know what you’re doing

Interesting, seems like the consensus is that it’s the opposite of what I originally thought, however very good once mastered. In that case, is frost more along the lines of a good introduction to mage? What are your thoughts on Frost then?
Arcane easily the hardest made spec to play well. But in the right hands is the top tier. I’d say frost is easiest mage overall. Fire rotation is easier maybe, but so squishy.
