I’ve also acquired some corruption and that Thing from Beyond is interesting…

Apparently I’m more into furries than I expected… had a ton of fun getting and making my Vulpera and Panda DK.
Haven’t done the main storyline yet… looks meh, might just rest up this patch and level alts/farm raids.

Tell me about it. On my mage, I got a belt that was 420 but outperformed my 450 with a socket and good stats by 1,500 dps.
I was happy with it until my friend got one that was a 10,000 dps upgrade.
…I’ve got to farm m+ next week, really really hard to get the corruption I need.
Balance is completely out the window at the moment though.

Invasions are too grindy for me.
I’ve done plenty of grinds but I found those fun (Mechagon was a lot of fun). Maybe i just need a break til shadowlands. Can’t even stomach getting through Vale the first time

I 100% agree. I’ve gotten 2 corrupted items thus far on my DH. One was a 15 corruption 440 item, no big deal, wearing the essence I can wear the item with no issue. The second was a 420 item with a whopping 66 corruption, ??? was my response. It makes zero sense
My RNG luck has been so bad, I had a 420 legs from doing m+ and then got another 420 legs from the cache from doing assaults then my weekly m+ cache was 415 legs. Like cmon Bliz I’ve got 7-8 other slots that need an upgrade

I’ve only done the initial Assault in Uldum (I’m currently parked next to Cho for the next phase of the opening quest line).
I did not like the Uldum Assault. The area is just too big, so density is low. I’m sure it didn’t help that lots of folks were there, but even still, the Invasions and Assaults that were used to are much more concentrated than this thing was so grinding it out was pretty tedious. Dunno how much that will be better when the population dies down a bit, but it made for a frustrating evening.

Feels entirely too long. Maybe it’d feel less long if it were actually interesting.
Vulpera unlock I rushed through without reading anything, since I hate vulpera (completionist in me wants all the heritage unlocked, even if I never use it). So it’s my own fault for not reading, but sure, making wine in Suramar is a great reason to recruit them I guess.
Still need to do Mechagon to unlock the gnomes.
But this quest chain. I couldn’t finish the opening stuff today. I got past Vale and Uldum and onto finding Wrathion’s… whatever he hid in Blackrock. And I just. Couldn’t.

Invasions are well structured but VERY slow to complete. That could use some tuning.
The minor Daily quest rewards feel a little TOO minor, could also maybe use some help.
Legendary cape questline is pretty long but the story is on point. Nzoth is established as a really cool threat with a tangible reason to be afraid of him which has been a REAL problem with villians this expansion if you ask me.
Mechagnomes look terrible but their quest is pretty fun.
Vulpera look excellent and so is their quest.
Had to wait an hour for blizzard to process my faction change, so that doesn’t bode well.

Spent six hours today and felt like I went nowhere.
If this is the feeling they want me to have for the next year… We have a massive problem here.
Really not a fan of the corruption system either. and cleansing the items will be like neutering myself effectiveness wise?
