Wrathion is pretty young for a dragon. In fact, he’s tiny compared to the other aspects (I think he’s the same size as my highland drake, which is weird 'cause he was huge when we fought him in Nyalotha.).
So why is his visage form a mid-30s-something man? Shouldn’t he still be a kid/teen?

They pick their own visages as far as I know. Why would he choose to look like a kid and not be taken serious hahah

Yeah it was just Nzoth messing around. Wrathion is still a drake so he’s more around Anduins age mentally. His age is just weird because of how he was made. Even the majordomo in waking shores points out he seems way older than he should be.
He doesn’t look mid 30s at all. Mid 20s at most.
Visage is about how you feel inside.
Who are we to judge him if he feels like a handsome dark stranger that gives Anduin the bedroom eyes in the elevator?
He made his visage form look older so he doesn’t get carded when he buys alcohol, I’m onto you Wrathion! 
Dragons can change their size and choose the appearance of their visage. The Aspects for example are as big as they’ve ever been. Walking up to them at the Seat of the Aspects and they’re absolutely gargantuan compared to their models in the past expansions.
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuh it’s 30 in dog years or something.
All the dragons look young in their visage forms compared to their true age. If wrathion doesn’t ever change it, it will fit right in with the others eventually lol.
Reminds me of Tom Hanks in Big. The whole legendary dagger questline and his “I’ll do anything for Azeroth” shtick is too adorable.

He doesn’t really look like he’s in his 30s, he looks like he’s in his 20s. Maybe a good 30s.
He fancies himself a charming person and wants to be seen as a charming person. More than that Blizzard is aware of its fanbase around Wrathion and wanted to lean into the Tumblr sexyman audience.
He is an inconsistent character.
