Im doing the war within campaign and when jaina and thrall brought backup Turalyon was on the alliance ship. I thought he was dead from the vision wrathion showed us. Did his son not get corrupted? Dont remember the lore about why the vision was showed to us. Could anyone summarize turalyons story leading up to now?
Those visions were actually ones created by N’zoth. They were possible futures where he successfully corrupted certain individuals. The most important being Thrall and Alleria.
As for what he has been up to since his appearance in Legion. He has been leading Stormwind in a regency role while Anduin is off having his PTSD trip around the world. Which was post Shadowlands.
Arathor is fine, he is getting frisky with twins at silvermoon.
Somehow only just hit me that Anduin and Turalyon have been in the same place and like… not a word about the elephant in the room. Unless there’s a stay awhile and listen I missed.
None that I’ve seen, though perhaps I also missed it.
Which elephant?
The blind one
Gonna need you to be a biiiiiiit more specific… there’s a lot of elephants where those two are concerned.
I was just joking
Good to know someone else read the short story.
What are you talking about? What twins? Arathor is an Alliance member, he wouldn’t even be in Silvermoon.
Yup, people think because he’s alliance he isn’t allowed in silvermoon. Like…people don’t know that faction wars isn’t a thing in the lore anymore. Humans do go to orgrimmar now in the lore. Arathor is chilling in silvermoon.
That or they don’t read the short stories.
Edit below for what he is up to.
A Whisper of Warning

Arator continued to serve the Silver Hand and was revealed to live in Silvermoon City, where he was sometimes visited by his parents. They teased him about having a crush on twins named Breezeblossom who live near his home. His relationship with Turalyon was awkward, as Arator knew him through stories as a hero before ever knowing him as his father. One day while Turalyon was visiting Arator after traveling to Silvermoon for business with Liadrin, the father and the son were surprised to see Alleria stop by as well. The mother had recently been asked by Khadgar to investigate the Dark Heart and “the Harbinger”, and came to see her son before beginning her mission. Alleria and Arator took a walk around the city, accompanied by guards assigned by Lor’themar Theron as Alleria was only allowed in until nightfall, during which Alleria made Arator promise not to get involved in her mission to hunt the Harbinger.[1]
As per Allerias short story, Arator is currently living in Silvermoon and regularly trains with the Argent Crusade that are there. A pair of twins have a major crush on him. Which Alleria and Turalyon lightly tease him about
Gotcha, hadn’t heard of this story before now. Feels weird but fair enough. Guess times are a changing.
Arator just got that Turalylon rizz.
Turaylon also regularly makes visits to Silvermoon so he can confer with Lady Liadrin over matters.
That’s pretty cool. I can see it more after thinking about it, I just often forget there’s meant to be a several years long gap between the last expansion and this one. Feels like so long since there’s been a degree of more open cooperation like this. Which is vaguely something I’d been wanting to happen.
I get people being confused because wow is still faction based, because of the game coding. The lore however, you got Gadetzan with both orcs and humans living with one another, you got the orc alliance fan boys in the lore who dress up in blue and get super excited to visit SW.
You got human traders and more rough men and women that like to hang out in Orgrimmar.
You got the silver hand and argent crusade hanging out mostly in silvermoon now, because of the sunwell.
Wow 2 should have been a thing to match their current writing.
Missing King
Regent filling in for missing King
I landed on the Horde ships in Donrgal bay expecting to be cut down. They were coded friendly and I think they even talked to me. It was offputting to say the least. Maybe I’ll have to go get myself killed in Orgrimmar to get my bearings back.
