What exactly are you expecting from solo content that will yield heroic raid gear in the future?

Also they are closer to MOP scenarios than Torg/Visions.
I ran them all on tier 3 already they weren’t a challenge remotely. Maybe when I was like 520 il. Not sure how people think these things are to much to handle.
No I don’t feel that way because unlike the wacky elite who want to get things over with as fast as they can, I actually like playing this game.
All I got from this was that you struggle to play the game.
This was absolutely not a skill issue, I can also attest that some classes in Torghast were just doomed. It was really, really bad! They should make sure classes are all having a good time in delves, and if not, give them something unique to the delves to sort them out. imo.
Expectation is 590-595 is enough to do T8s.
610-615~ is enough for T12.
615-620 for zekvir, but most will need more than that.
They’re tuned around ilvls / ilvl progression attainable from delves. If you engage in higher keys or raiding you’ll overgear even the hardest delves comfortably.
to be fair, it literally tells you it’s tuned for something like 554 ilvl. so you should be absolutely crushing it.
545 its tuned to. Like I have been saying. It’s not supposed to be hard. It’s. Not. Hard. If it is then go get some wq loot. Idk what else to say.
Delves at lvl 3 are not hard.
The reward is not worth the time played vs the entire rest of the game.

Brann makes it worse.
Hes programed to jump around and aggro everything.
He stands on top of all the loot or things you need to click.
The Delve seems to scale with your ilvl even though it says 545, everything has way more hp and it just takes way longer at ilvl 583 than it was at 558 when I initially ran them on level 3.
what specifically are you having trouble with? what class are you? I’m wondering if there’s a class balancing issue.
Personally it feels like Torghast and the Suramar Event had an offspring.
Like install DBM before you start doing them. The verbal alerts like “Watch your step” "Shockwave, “charging, move out of the way” etc is actually helpful to have. There are legit mechanics to deal with, including adds.
The Spider one’s last boss, you have to kill adds that channel anshield onto it making it absorb more damage than it takes while avoiding the mechanics like “Watch your step, and shockwave”
I think the Delves are over tuned already on tier 3. Honestly as more people get into the Delves, In wouldn’t be surprised to see them get nerfed with less enemy health, or less mechanics.
Edit: Adding in I have been doing them on my Ilvl 556 Ret Paladin. The boss health pools need to be nerfed, badly. The scaling is off.
The criticisms are criticizing exactly what Delves set out to do - slower, exploration/soloable/casual content for players. It’s okay for not all content to be for you, specifically.
As much as I’d like Greater Rift style content in WoW, I don’t see it happening. Nor do I think the people asking for it have gone above 100 in D3.
Exactly this. The monsters are too hitpoint heavy for most soloers. Diablo has it right. A lot of mobs with less hitpoints and the bosses that challenge players based on delve level.
Also, the rewards are below mediocre so far. It’s not exactly worth the effort in my humble opinion.
Finally, I was expecting to have to get a really good torch to use to light the way but torches are just another aesthetic. These caves should be very dark. Please Blizzard, give torches a real purpose. You could even make a new class that has night vision or give it to classes from the void, maybe dwarves also since they are notoriously underground dwellers. Please bring some of the D&D back into the game. Please!
The +3 is for players 545+ but as someone with a 574 toon they feel pretty awful. mobs feel like their just damage sponges with nothing else going for them.
“Here, we’ve design some content just for you! We put no effort into the level we are intending you to do it at, and you will be getting essentially no rewards. But we did it just for you! Don’t look at the many levels of content and sweet rewards that high achievers are getting. We developed this content just for you!”
All I got from this answer is that you struggle to comprehend how people who are not like you are permitted to exist, and you wish it would stop.
I can’t say I’m having “trouble”, since the quest that sent you into one showed it was totally stupid and pointless. It was like an advertisement to never bother with it, with bonus flashbacks to Torghast.
I get that they can be over geared. My main is a 556 Ret Pally and I have been doing +3’s without dying. But as other commenters have said, the health pools are way too big.
Mechanics are fine, and addon’s like DBM help. The fights just are too long because of the health pools for characters at or around the tuning level. At 572 yeah I can see you smashing it, but even at 556, I shouldn’t be having to take so long to down the bosses.
I’m betting there’s an issue with the scaling being off.
can 4 people reliably carry a 5th through a mythic dungeon?
They do have a molasses feel. Needs tweaking. But solo content with gear progression is needed. If it loses development focus, I’m unsubbing again.
