yes, any vanilla player has heard of Thottbot. as far as resurrection- i really have no idea. not in its original format anyway. im sure there will be some knock off. isnt there always? lol.
the only addon i suggest people touch, if they need one- is quest helper. when they come out with its original addon version (not the current integrated version). things like DBM, i wouldnt trust. not for a good while anyway.
You know you can just “reply” now, instead of quoting the entire text of the person you are responding to. That is the main advantage of this forum design over the old ones. The old forums were insufferable where people would requote entire posts over and over again. Use quote when you are responding to a small part of a bigger post.
You can also position your cursor over the section you want to quote and select just that one part. Only thing is, you could do that in the old forums too but no one but me ever seemed to do it
I actually wish these new forums would forbid quoting the entire post. “Reply” now provides the same context so quoting like that just adds more noise. Quoting just the snippet you are responding to is fine, but if you are quoting one sentence of a short post, reply is probably sufficient there too.
yah and that can make it hard to follow sometimes, but yah the large posts sucked for that, ive always tried to quote certain parts over quoting the whole thing.
I can’t tell if you are begin intentionally obtuse or not. Probably intentional.
I’m talking about your insistence on full-quoting the post that immediately precedes your response. What is the point of that? Everyone can see what you are responding to. So, cheers to you on your top notch trolling.
Unrelated: I hope they bring back the ‘ignore’ feature eventually.
