You see me fighting the mobs next to it so I can grab it, then you swoop in and steal it?
What, do you also swipe items out of other people’s grocery carts too? Who the heck raised you, don’t be rude…

i am pretty sure the packs are multi tap - not sure about the dirt piles. I only see these at 3 am so you are fortunate to see them at peak hour.
They are not multi-tap, I’ve seen someone take one as I see it on my map and it disappears as soon as they grab it.
Ya, I’ve noticed that as well. I don’t think they are multitap. Even the chests disappear.
All is fair in love and warcraft.
the packs I know are multitap, but you only have a few seconds to do it after someone else does it. Reminds me of the old days mining as a rogue, someone come up to snatch a node while I’m fighting, vanish, shake aggro on them, mine, and watch them whisper me calling me names for “taking their node” lol
The dirt can be accessed by multiple ppl fyi. I believe it might disappear from map but its still clickable. Had multiple instances of me and someone else both looting a dirt pile.
They are, I’ve grabbed them at the same time as other people no problem.
They’re the same people who try to fish in the same fishing pool you’re already at.
They are like ore/herbs multiple people can get them but it’s a small window before it despawns so fight faster!
They are multitap. They are like treasures. They have a despawn timer and the map icon gets removed during that despawn timer. Which I believe is roughly 30 seconds. So make sure you check where they got looted.
They’re multi-tap, but I notice with the packs and dirt they disappear from the map after being initially looted. You can still grab them if you know where they are, though.
I agree, though. The sentiment is rather rude.
welcome to the world of warcraft
They are multi-tap but the thing is, once someone gets it then it seems to disappear faster and if you’re still fighting, you run the risk of missing out.
That’s why I think it’s a good idea to help out people who are fighting a mob instead of just getting the pack/dirt & moving on.
I have avoided packs that look like they’re being claimed at times. I have also been completely oblivious to what others are doing, swooped down, taken the dirt pile and remounted at times.
So let’s say I try not to do this, but it happens sometimes.
I didn’t know this. I’ll mouse scan the area once they disappear instead of just leaving annoyed. Ty for this.
Same here. I try to be nice if I can.
Speaking of this, I just found a mount inside an expedition pack.
Don’t be jealous tho, it’s the hideous skitterfly mount from Dragonscale Exp.
OR, and hear me out, this might blow your mind…
Don’t swipe it from someone trying to fight the mobs next to it?
With this logic it should be okay for me to take something out of someone’s grocery cart.
People who steal fishing pools as well.
I’m sorry, did you spend 10 minutes killing Hornswogs and getting your toes singed to spawn this Overheated Lava Pool?
No?
Then piss off and let the person who did put the effort into spawning it get their rewards.
