Maybe because I like my troll character. She was the second character I made and has been with me more than ten years. Why would I dump her for some pock-marked Zandalari?

Druid was my alt, and I mained a femtroll Warr since late TBC. I always swore that I’d main a troll druid (i hated the tauren forms), so when they became available, I did so.
I also didn’t feel like rerolling after grinding OR giving blizz even more money. Didn’t quite like their shapeshifts so, yeah. Remained Darkspear.

Maybe they think their regular trolls are better.
I think regular Draenei are better than lightforeged and wouldn’t switch.
I actually like the darkspear model more than zandalari. Zandarli looks too polished but with less customization options.
Death knights too edgy for new zandalari trolls.
Because the Zandalari are fugly. I prefer to not play a troll with a skin fungus problem. And male trolls are suposed to hunch. The male Zandalari are just male night elves with bad troll masks on.
Cosmetically, I like dark spear better. No warts (or whatever those things are), better stance, thinner but not as tall. So my troll is staying dark spear. I do have another zandarli I’m leveling of a different class but I’m never changing my other one.
Darkspear are the OG trolls. Hunched backs for life! And I have a huge crush on the OG original female trolls. To me they hit that more natural troll aesthetic while still being appealing. Plus their rich history in the Horde make them better in my eyes. Even as a worgen, I’d like a troll wife. Zandalari trolls are imo like some sort of supposed “pretty” version of trolls. As if a Blood Elf looked at the troll design and said, “Oh no no no darling, this will not do. Let me make you far more beautiful!” Ugh… no, trolls are epic as they are, and far more unique in appearance.

I see no reason to change, totally aside from the fact that I saw the whole grind mechanism as blatantly exploitative.

Troll females are prettier, but zandy women are super tall.
I love zandalari males, probably my favorite race in the game.
Dark spear are still awesome and can be warlocks
