The void elves did join the alliance before the Battle For Darkshore. Sylvanas could have easily killed a group of them and raised them as Dark Elves. Like she did with Night Elves, hence the red eyes for Void Elvs. The void corruption could linger even after death or quite possibly raise the said elf that is infused with it.

Void Elves are still Blood Elves - I assume Lorâthemarâs threat was still valid for them.

I wanted the night warrior black skin option to go with the red eyes and white hair for my NE to have that real Drow appearance but couldnt use that skin /cry but she still is fire.
