Those "No Download Needed" Games

Do any of you play them and do you find them challenging or are they just fodder to get you interested, and then they fleece you?

I have looked at several, but nothing shakes the leaves on my tree. How about you?

I tried a few, but it depends on the game.

You have your no-download FB games. I prefer the match-3 games like Candy Crush and Bejeweled. Those can be fun… until you get deep in the game where you have to clear the board in like 20 moves and you have pieces you need to hit multiple times to clear. So you need to have picture-perfect chain reactions to clear if you don’t want to spend for boosts and extra lives.

And then you have those no-download, 10-cent shovelwave browser games. I tried the town-builders and dungeon crawlers. Those are the ones where half the buttons on the UI have marks on them you have to click on to collect currency from playing, while the other half pester you to purchase currency. I don’t bother with these types.

Thanks for the reply, Xelphina. Unless it’s a puzzle game, such as a Sherlock Holmes - type of game, where you have to choose your way to the end using algorithm - like “paths”, I’d pass those types of games up.

The other problem I’d have right to begin with is the comparison between WoW and whatever style of play, appearance, etc. For example, if one of those games were too “carrtoony”, I wouldn’t even start to play it, and I may have a “cut off my nose to spite my face” attitude. So yeah — no to those games unless it’s as I described earlier — a puzzler which depends on your choice of paths.

I played some ninja game and Attack Hole on youtube for like, an hour each. They are definitely poop games. Not bad, just you play them while pooping.

No I dont take an hour to poop.

these new games arent even games
its literally just stimming on a screen
