I had this crazy idea earlier that I think could be an extremely cool idea for a special quest, but it’s reliant on so many unknown factors.
IF: Potential Story Spoilers
At the end of The War Within or during Midnight, see’s us Champions going anywhere near the Sunwell again because Xal’atath is trying to corrupt it to a Voidwell… and let’s say that after that final encounter is done and we’re left with a Voidwell that needs to be monitored/watched before we take action to cleanse it, would it be possible to introduce a special quest line for Hunter’s (possibly even specifically Void Elf Hunters) to unlock the ability to speak to a nearby NPC that notices you have a Thori’dal in your possession or equipped and you can unlock a transmog/skin variant where you dip the bow in the Voidwell, changing the animations to Void based color schemes (like Voidweaver Priest). Awarding a new item for cosmetic reasons, we could call it “Something Void-like, the Devourer’s Glee,” and then it’s unlocked for that Account’s transmog.
Sorry if the format of this post is wonky, I tried my best to be appropriate for the forums. Any further discussion or ideas would be great appreciated. Hoping to provide the spark or some kindling to the flame of a Blizzard Dev who can make something happen with this.
