Well yeah most of the horde is living I think most horde players would love to have a “Family” again right?

The whole “Family” tidbit excluded Forsaken in MOP and hasn’t been relevant since.

All forsaken must be put 6 feet under.
Huzzah! I am once again vindicated.

You are welcome Forsaken fans.

Who wrote this little piece of comedy?

RIP Forsaken.

Y’all were great until Before the Storm ruined everything. This is the last nail in the coffin of a great race.

Well I would hope the forsaken would want to actually be in the horde after all the bfa stuff

Its seriously almost comical at this point.

Apparently the Forsaken character has to be either evil or a self-sacrificing saint.

Gross. The original string represented the free-will of the Forsaken perfectly.

Probably the last straw for me if it doesn’t get changed.

I’m not sure I understand the problem with this sentence? Protecting others is a good thing, isn’t it? It’s finally something positive for the Forsaken after being villain batted all of BfA.

Renouncing the savagery of the other tribes, you and your fellow Darkspear trolls protect Azeroth with cunning ferocity.

Just as Velen foresaw - all will serve under God-King Blanduin with love and friendship.

These text blurbs are the first thing new players will see. They should quickly and succinctly capture the essence of the race. This is a borderline lie, the Forsaken do not tirelessly protect the living anymore than any other race on Azeroth. That’s a description you would use for a Paladin. It’s just more World of Anduincraft.

Of all of the races to pull the “one of the good ones” card on… did they really not see the problem with pulling it on the trolls?

Its… pretty tone deaf. The forsaken have always had a darker more sinister path, and seem like they’re being turned into goodie-to-shoes now. Now it seems they’re just gonna be undead humans, seems the horde is going further down the path of alliance 2.0 instead of its own unique thing.

Even the new line to the belf opener seems pretty, well, ew

“Your people, the blood elves, have persevered through tragedy and betrayal. You toil to ensure Azeroth never endures such suffering again.”

Honestly belfs never really cared about azeroth all that much lmao. But I guess ill ‘toil’ to make sure nothing ever ever never ever happens to azeroth again lmao. The word choice of ‘toil’ tbh is really off-putting.

Ill wait to cast my final judgement on it all until we know more though.

Thats literally darkspear lore my dude, they gave up cannibalism and stuff

It begins lol, the horde players complained about being villian batted, and blizzard gives new descriptions to new players about the new hordes direction and now come the wave of “We dont want to be heroes, we are villains and edgy.”

like this, belves literally do this

Two of my predictions during BFA was that the Warchief mantle would not survive and that they will use this expansion to whitewash the Horde so that they are easier to write.

Canonically it takes place before BfA. You do the intro then you’re dropped at post-Lordaeron, which Sylv has you go around committing atrocities until the writers go “okay now you need to feel bad for what we made you do in questing.”

It doesn’t really do much.
