Thistle Tea auto-proc is annoying as hell

Oh, I dumped a bit too much energy on this mob… Guess I wasted 2 Thistle Tea stacks without noticing and now have to wait 2 minutes before starting the Delve’s final boss.

Was it too hard to make a choice node or something with a version that doesn’t auto-proc? Wouldn’t be the first time there’s a choice node for a slight change in how an ability works.

Literally nobody asked for an auto-proc.

While we’re on the subject, what’s the point of Slice and Dice now? I believe in Legion it was an alternative to Roll the Bones for those who didn’t like the randomness. Great!

Then it became something every spec has in addition to Roll the Bones. Well, I guess it still rewards using a single combo point and stacking it up to a full minute with just Envenom? Not a fan, but okay.

Now it just procs on every finisher? What’s the point? Where’s the gameplay? Just remove the ability at this point, increase our base attack speed if it’s that important.

Blizzard loves pruning until they make hero talents or tier sets that force us into active abilities like Killing Spree or Secret Technique. I don’t get it.

Secret Technique slander will not be tolerated but all your points are valid.

Personally id rather keep SnD as an ability. The situations in which I press it are extremely rare (bout to jump into a new M+ pack but the current SnD wont last long enough and i dont plan on using Eviscerate til the end of the pack) but they warrant keeping it even if its not keybound.

The only point right now is that using SnD directly gives you more time per combo point spent. Using the finisher that auto applies it only gives you like half the time it normally would. Still took it off my bars though
