The state of the game is such in a bad state I just find that it’s bad taste.

if u guys are this angry about a harmless april fools joke that is literally just the equivalent of some forum hero coming up with their own balance changes its probably time to play a different game, or just stop playing games at all and engage in some self reflection for a bit

Its like this game is literally a joke to them. I know April fools patch notes are a joke but dude…If they know a class is busted, and THEN JOKE ABOUT IT even though they have had MONTHS to fix it, do they plan on actually doing anything to fix it?

Well, that mage “joke” can be interpreted two ways. Either it can be seen as Blizzard ignoring the so called overpowered fire mage. Or it can be seen as Blizzard refusing to fix arcane mages. And yes, arcane mages are in a terrible spot in arena. Any class with one school of magic that needs to stand still to do any damage is not built for the current arena meta where people hump pillars until their big insta burst cooldowns are up again.

All classes scale the same. This has been a thing since Legion. Outside last tier of BFA cause of corruption.

I like to look at what secondaries modify the burst of a class and how much. I believe fire will scale well because mastery/haste/vers will all improve fires burst potential.

When you couple that with % damage increasing conduits/int/controlled burn(it will probably be used once mastery gets high), I see a huge and better scaling damage increase for fire.

It’s mostly gonna be the %based potency conduits that increase the initial damage of pyro and it stacking with combustion damage increasing one. It will make it pull ahead even further…That is, until they nerf it again…

I think any spec that has a % based damage potency conduit that directly increases their burst damage will get out of control pretty quickly and probably have their conduit nerfed.

Arcane could be made playable if they did these 2 small things:
Unnerf RoP and Overpower in pvp. They removed some of the nerf from Glacial spike so why not?

They could do this now if they wanted…

In a meta where you literally get 1 shot from stealth, unnerfing those talents wouldn’t be asking for much…

ya i agree, blizz should pre emptively nerf lock and other casters so we dont have another bfa s4 meta
maybe also buff hance to just make sure we dont see them again
