This why Pre-patch delayed Baldur's gate 3 early release delay

Yeppers.

Can’t use past for precedence anymore. :100:

Are you saying that every single Release Candidate build in WoW’s history was pushed live in 7 days?

I would love you to prove that.

I might play as will since he has a nekked succubus and is a warlock

I’ll definitely play BG3 but I’ll likely wait until the premium price comes down.

Apparently the word “Candidate” is confusing too!

Isn’t the release of BDG 3 for early access and not the full game?

I think I have only seen it once, but that was with a confirmed date for a prepatch. (I forgot which expansion though).

Correct. Apparently WoW is pushing back a prepatch for an early access date.

Because that makes sense.

What’s actually happening in Goldshire…

The BG3 post on the site says that theres no pre-orders meaning the early access is free to all it also states theres no keys its just up for all

"OH - there’s one more thing. There won’t be pre-orders for Baldur’s Gate 3 and you do not need to worry about pre ordering to play with everyone else.

You’ll be able to buy it on launch day, and then start playing the content described in this update. There will not be limited quantities of keys."

To be fair, the content that’s in early access is pretty dope

just like shadowlands pre-patch is early access to shadowlands and not the full thing yet

Ah yes, conveniently ignore the rest of my post and prove you have no clue how things work.

Let me put it in clearer words.

When they compile, they probably don’t type out release every time. They either enter a number like 1 or 2 to indicate what type of build it is or they have a check box in the compiler.

Allow me to sum up

and its free don’t even have to pre-order

It’s 60 bucks, it’s not free.

I distinctly recall them delaying the release of flying because of some other game that was having a release.

It’s believable they might do that. I think it’s more likely that they’re having issues with stabilizing the beta though.

early access is not 60 bucks

This current ESO event is a lot of fun though and ends on the 5th. I always assumed Blizzard thinks their fans would ditch all other games for them and wouldn’t delay for these reasons.
