This why Pre-patch delayed Baldur's gate 3 early release delay

This is the probably actual reason Pre-patch was delayed, they may have delayed it because the biggest competition to SL delayed their from sept 30th to oct 6th

on ptr Shadowlands pre-patch went from release version to test version right before tuesday the 29th hit then ON the 29th the ptr swapped it back to release version conveniently, when they turned it from release version to test version that was the time when BG3 did the same and decided oct 6th for AI “stress test” and now we are seeing Pre-patch stress test today
the biggest competition is not ESO this time but BG3 which is Old school D&D

also blizzard made a grave error by delayed because pre-patch cannot compete with the newest Baldur’s Gate 3 update for EA

Community Update #7 - Romance & Companionship
which include intercourse between any characters in graphic detail

that is something blizz can never do since they do not think to do a 18+ only dlc but hey maybe moonguard and half of all the rpers and even non rpers will be gone all of shadowlands and enjoying BG3

edit: wowhead is the ones who say “candidate” but the actual ptr says release as shown in the pics on the link ppl below are getting confused because of the word candidate which is something wowhead just says alot

then on tuesday it was reverted back to release when it was too late to push it out to live

baldur’s gate decided to delay from sept 30th early access to oct6th on the EXACT same day that blizz put SL pre-patch as release version

then blizz reverted it to test version and on sept 29th decided to put it back on release version after the fact that it was too late to push it to live which looks like its on purpose because now it could be out oct 6th the exact same date that BG3 is out

we all know WoW would not exist if LOTR or DDO never existed
BG3 is a big competition

this trailer was released around the time of the 8.3 reveal

BG3 is definitely going to be up there with ESO and FFvix competing on nearby early access, patch and release dates.

When was the date announced?

right before blizz decided to turn the ptr from release candidate into test again and guess what yesterday, the day it would have been out… they turn it back into release candidate and ALSO look at the reason for Baldur’s gate 3 then delayed it for a “stress test” and guess what today is… Pre-patch stress test on PTR… you all can claim its just coincidence but lol every time? blizzard lines up their patch with ffxiv or ESO, this time its lined up BG3 early access with SL pre-patch exact same date and BG3 is old school with a bigger rep than the other two, just looking at the reveal cinimatic which came out around 8.3 announcement, you can tell they were giving blizz a message, that cinimatic was basically mind flayers and old gods vs blizz N’zoth and cultist patch in which you can see they look nearly identical.

how can you delay that which has no date

the patch is 3 weeks minimum bare minimum
week 1 chromies time + changes
week 2 and 3 is the 2 questline unlocks
the xpac is oct 26, the date is the math difference

once again, how can you declare something is delayed when you weren’t given the release date in the first place?

Yes, because I’m sure blizzard is deeply concerned we won’t play the prepatch for the two weeks most people will take to absorb all BG3 content.

I’m buying all the new games and skipping shadowlands. With the box and sub fee I will save money and give them time to fix the broken mess.

These conspiracy theories are getting real good lol.

they should be because they hyped it up so much since blizzcon saying its a zombie apocolypse and all thru the time we are in shadowlands the scourge is taking over azeroth, huge even then guess what they scrap it down to a measly 3 weeks or less and nearly scrap the whole zombie part of it nerfing it to the ground. lol

That is a lot of words you wrote there without answering my question.

I’m not terribly surprised.

The potential to create so many RP characters…makes me so excited. My first character will be a villain of course

release candidate on ptr= its going to be release cuz thers not another test build = testing done and as wowhead stated its the first time in all of history that blizz turned a release candidate back into test build instead of releasing it the following tuesday
